• I’m having difficulty connecting the IFTTT WordPress Channel to my self hosted WP at https://www.therustynutbible.com. I’ve eliminated their troubleshooting steps from https://ifttt.com/help:

The WordPress Channel isn’t working. How can I troubleshoot?
Make sure XML-RPC is enabled for your WordPress blog. ENABLED BY DEFAULT AFTER 3.5
Make sure the username you have activated has full Admin rights. IT HAS AND I CAN LOGIN DIRECTLY, JUST NOT VIA THE API
Double-check that the Blog URL is correct, and that you’re running the latest version of WordPress. IT IS IN ROOT NOT A SUBDIRECTORY
If all fails to work, you can still trigger from your blog by using its RSS Feed with the IFTTT Feed Channel.

That last bit seems to acknowledge they are aware some sites never work properly and they’ve thrown in their hand.. that’s annoying, I really need this to work.

I have tried disabling all plugins and it still won’t connect so the problem is in the base code.

    Any suggestions?
