Notification when user start the chat

    Hi, congratulations for your great plugin. I just have a question. Does it have a notification when user starts the chat?… No matter if they need to log with name and email or not. I mean just when user clicks the “start chat button”.

    If not it would be great , it is difficult and unproductive for the operator, having to be refreshing the chat console page all the time to view new chat requests.

    Other suggestions:

    • When operator cancell the chat, the user still can writing and the operator still receiving notification sounds.
    • Would be nice if when operator marks the session as cancelled, a message appeared in the users windows which says thanks, coming soon or something.
    • Would be great if when person abandon chat for a certain period of time. the status from operator chat window, automatically change to “user gone”

    I’m so sorry for late reply.

    We just released the new version of Live Chat plugin with improvements for you. Please update plugin and check it.
    Now live chat dashboard automatically refresh the page with new chat requests. Besides detection of new messages in chats would be accompanied by a sound message.
    Also please check two last your suggestions – now it should work as you want.

    As for the first – you simply want to receive notification sounds or maybe notifications on email?

    We have released new version of Live Chat plugin with improvements for you. Please update plugin and check it. Go to Live Chat by Supsystic -> Notifications tab -> there you will find new option “New chat start notification” – https://prntscr.com/amg62l You need to enter the email addresses that should receive notifications (separate by comma) about new chat start.

    The next famous improvement will be to receive the first chat message in email text.
    We can imagine a new variable named [data_message] to use with option
    New chat start email text, like variables [sitename], [siteurl], [user_data], [session_data], etc …
