• I am going crazy trying to figure out how to embed/display a Google+/Photos album in a WordPress page on my site.

There are a number of plugins that purport to do this, but they are either out of date, or use an old Google user ID/Album Id interface that Google has moved on from, or have been forced to transition to Google’s OAuth 2 interface that is really complex, and I can’t get to work from two plugins that I’ve tried it from. I found a couple of YouTube videos that show how to do it from the old picasaweb interface, except that the embed code that that produces requires Flash, which is fast disappearing, and that I don’t want to rely on (and my main browser has it disabled).

I have tried the [googleplus url=”https://…”%5D shortcode that I found discussed when talking about embedding a Google+ post, but it seemed to have no effect when I gave it the URL of my photo album.

You would think that this would be simple to do, but I’m hitting a brick wall. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks!
