Unfinished restoration messsage wont go away…

    I am using UpdraftPlus v2.11.23.2 and had restored my site the other day. The log file shows that the restore was successfully completed and my site seems to be working fine…however, this message is on almost every page in my Admin panel and will NOT go away.

    UpdraftPlus: Unfinished restoration
    You have an unfinished restoration operation, begun 823 minutes, 12 seconds ago.
    Continue restoration | Dismiss

    When I click on continue restoration the, site starts to connect and then prompts me to login again. Then the same message pops up. I have emptied caches, deleted cookies, etc. I have also reinstalled the UpdraftPlus v2.11.23.2 plugin.

    How do I get this message to go away?

    Hi,

    When I click on continue restoration

    Click on “Dismiss” instead!

    Also: it won’t show after 24 hours.

    Ahhh, ok – thanks!

    Why is this happening? I just want to be sure that my restore was completed successfully. It’s a very uneasy feeling when you get notifications like that. ??

    Hi,

    It is possible that the restoration task is not being removed after the restoration completes.

    If you send a copy of the restoration log, we can double check that everything is completing correctly.
    You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your site.
    The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as pastebin, and post the link here.
