adding 3 text boxes

    I would like to have 3 boxes that would support text and.or graphics that when clicked on would go to a specific page in the menu. ie. EVENTS MEMBERSHIIP RATES

    It would be for just the main/landinhg/home page.

    How can I make this happen?
    A widget? or css coding?
