problems with blog (post) page

When I made my Blog page a Post page, a HUge IT Slider (which I added to the Home page only) showed up on the Blog page, along with large gray “View” windows.

After a website designer tried to fix the problem (she said she couldn’t find the code), the slider is gone, but the gray “view” windows remain.

Also, the Huge IT slider on the Home page is not working now. The slider that comes with the theme (Aldehyde) on the About page is not working either.

The designer suggested that I switch to another theme.

Any ideas?
