Want to show date and venue on Events Page?

    Hi,

    I have a number of recurring events. When you click on the event in the calendar some show the date of the event and some show the venue – but not both.

    – shows date here
    – shows venue here

    – the event showing the date does not have a picture whereas the one not showing the date does, is this the problem? Can i have a picture and show the date and venue or is this just being greedy?

    Any advice on the options appreciated.

  • I’m not part of support…

    Using Firefox Inspector.. your dates are “in” the page with the image but are being hidden.
    I think you might be missing a closing “html” tag.. ie span div or p td etc….. or maybe the theme or plugin is not adding the image to the page correctly.

    I looked at your page with the image…
    You might have a slight booboo in the Html coding..
    Settings-> Formating->Events
    Single Event Page..
    and look at the box with the Html coding is…
    For a little test try moving the place holder
    #_EVENTDATES above the #_EVENTIMAGE tag…

    I think you might be missing a closing “html” tag.. ie span div or p td etc…..

    If you are still having problems post the code here..

    I don’t use the #_EVENTIMAGE tag.. but I just tried it… above, below, float right, float left etc etc.. and didn’t have any problems.

    @gdempsey Can you post the code / formatting your using for the events page?

    Do you have the same problem if you test with the default WordPress theme?
