WordPress app for desktop says: "You have no public sites on WordPress.com yet"

  • WordPress app for desktop says: “You have no public sites on WordPress.com yet” – But I do..
    I installed the brilliant new app to my mac, I have 2 wordpress websites
    orensodesign.com
    galiainfographics.com

    both will not show on the “my site” tab, instead it says: You don’t have any WordPress sites yet. Would you like to start one?

    Please help ??

  • Both of the sites you have mentioned appear to be hosted here…
    Name Server: NS1.AMS26.SITEGROUND.EU
    Name Server: NS2.AMS26.SITEGROUND.EU
    …and that is not wordpress.com. Those sites are what are called “self-hosted” and the app you are attempting to use apparently works only with sites hosted at wordpress.com.
