I’m making a Japanese/English study page but my MP3 files don’t play properly and get cut off on my iPhone but not PC. Any ideas why?

I disabled all the plugins and had the same problem.

I reinstalled WordPress through the Dashboard updates area and still had the same problem.

The MP3s play perfectly on my PC and are 128kb so the quality is a lot smaller than the first 320kb files I made. Is there a setting somewhere to fix this type of problem?

I have activated all the plugins again in the meantime but any help is greatly appreciated.

Here is a sample MP3 if it helps.

I just have one phone, an iPhone 6, but the problem is the same on my iPod. I tried clearing the Safari browser cache on the phone but it didn’t fix the problem either. Any other ideas?

The first MP3 file plays but the others start playing and get cut off somehow. I’m using the Twenty Sixteen template on the igym site too. Could this problem be server related of the encoder for the MP3 files? I know long long ago these files were okay though.

I think I have found a bug in WordPress. If I just have one audio file it is okay but multiple files don’t load properly. Can you fix WordPress?

I have been doing a lot of reading and it looks like this is a real problem an not just on my site. I found a plugin that shows the recorded file and can play multiple files on a page so it would be nice if WordPress could be fixed so it can just play multiple audio files on a page. What do I do to get this thread moved to the WordPress bug area?

The first site now has a plugin to fix the problem as there is a bug in the standard WordPress install https://agreatdream.com/free-study/

The second site has been left as a standard WordPress install with sample of the bug. Multiple audio files on a page work on a PC but not on an iPhone https://igym.jp/test/

I’ve spent a month trying everything I can. Can someone please help me?

I can test any MP3 files online.

    I tried reinstalling WordPress.

No plugins and the default theme.

    Is WordPress broken?

How to we embed multiple MP3 files on a page?
