    Hello,

    Love this plugin!

Unfortunately, when wooCommerce v2.5.2 is active and Better User Search is activated then the customer/user search feature of WooCommerce no longer functions.

You can recreate the issue by attempting to search for a customer/user when creating a new order in the admin dashboard of WooCommerce.

WooCommerce>>Orders>>NewOrder>>search for customer ERROR: FAILS TO LOAD

This is a WP4.4.2 multisite installation with WooCommerce and Better User Search active on a single subsite.

Upon deactivating Better User Search, then the customer search function of WooCommerce returns to normal functioning.

    Can you assist?

    Thanks!

I’m not familiar with the inner workings of WooCommerce. But, clearly that sounds like an issue. Do you notice this only in the admin area or is it in other parts as well?

Do you have seamless mode on? If so, what happens when you disable it?

@soobahkdo, please confirm that you are running BOTH “Better Search” (this plugin) AND “Better User Search” (my plugin) when experiencing this issue.

If so, does deactivating “Better Search” (while leaving “Better User Search” activated) allow the “Search for a customer…” to work again?

Can you please also try searching for a customer on the WooCommerce Orders LISTING page and let me know if that works with both plugins activated?

The reason I ask is because I recently added a feature to “Better User Search” (based on your request) that allows the searching capability to extend to the “Search for a customer…” field on the WooCommerce Orders page, but I have not tested it on the “WooCommerce>>Orders>>New Order” page.

Also, I just installed “Better Search” on one of my installations (awesome plugin @webberzone!!!), and with the default settings, customer searching works on the WooCommerce Orders page as well as the WooCommerce Add Order page.

    For reference, I tested with:

    WordPress 4.4.2
    WooCommerce 2.4.6
    Better Search 2.1.0
    Better User Search 1.1.1

Unfortunately, I am unable to test on multisite currently as I do not have a development platform setup for that. I will look into setting one up for testing and future development.

    Hello dal3h,

I just realized that I posted the issue on the incorrect plugin page.

    MY BAD.

I just tried Better Search alone and it works fine on two subsites of a multisite network which have Woocommerce active.

I tried Better Search with seamless mode ON and with it OFF and WooCommerce Customer search worked in both cases on the New Order Page.

Sorry for the distraction, but my tests indicate it works ok on multisite. ??

Activating Better User Search still breaks WooCommerce New Order Customer Search.

Now I am off to post the issue on the correct plugin page. ??

    Thanks!

Does deactivating Better Search (while leaving Better User Search active) allow the search to work again?

    Hi dale3h,

No. I tried that and still encountered Loading Fails message.

@webberzone It turns out that this issue is not related to your plugin! ??
