    Hi,

    I have not been able to upload media files and install new plugin after upgrading wordpress to 4.4.2.

    When uploading the media files, I get the following error message. This is strange as I am trying to upload the file today (2016-Feb-10)
    The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2015/09.

    For installing new plugins, I get the error message below.
    Could not create directory.

    PHP version is 5.4.45

    I have tried the following ways below but it does not resolve the issue.
    – Changing the uploads folder to 755.

    Increase your memeory limit

    add this in wp config file

    define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’);

    please make sure Only an administrator level user has the access to add or remove plugins.

    Thanks bukge!

    It seems that the problem was due to my hosting server not having sufficient memory. After I increased my hosting memory limit, it works!
