    Hi, I’m trying to upload a large number of very large photos to my galleries, but it keeps failing or I have to do them 10 at a time. Is there a more efficient way of doing this?

    I tried uploading the imaged via FTP to the folder then regenerating the thumbnails and resizing, but nothing actually happened. Help!

    @braniganslaw,

    What you can do is to create a few zip folders containing the images. Then upload the zips. Using FTP will not work, since thumbnails folder will not be created. Note that it will be best to upload a zip of no more than 50 images at a time. Thank you.

    Hi Sona,

    Thanks for the response. The ZIP file uploaded just as the full ZIP file. Not sure if you want to further investigate, but it might have just been me doing something wrong.

    In the end, I just reduced the images on my local machine BEFORE uploading them. That got things running much faster.

    @braniganslaw,

    It is always a good idea to make the images smaller before uploading them, since their large dimension also reflects on website speed. In any case we are happy you have made it work. Thank you for using our plugin.
