I’m trying to find this pop-up while creating/editing a post. I don’t see the option to insert flash anywhere in the editor. The plug-in has been activated successfully and works if I enter code by hand, but I don’t see this new pop-up for inserting flash files. I’m on a mac using firefox and safari.

I can’t find any documentation on this Pop-up in the reading or in the forums. Can everyone else preview and use this? It shows a screen-shot of it. The second png image, but I can’t get that to display in my admin. I just installed the latest wordpress and I’m looking for a nice plug-in to insert flash content, mainly videos with a SWF I’ve created.

The TinyMCE-Popup should be automatically integrated/loaded. The button is a small black clapperboard.

Either the script inserting the button is not loaded or not fully executed.

Please open the Error Console in Firefox, delete it’s content and reload the page. If there is an error, please post it here.

If not, try a clean re-install of the plugin. If this doesn’t help, you maybe manipulated TinyMCE or you are using an older WordPress version.

I have just encountered the same problem as you and I deleted the content of the console error and now it works just fine!

Great job! Thanks a lot. I’ll check out how deleting the content of the console error van affect the rendering of website!

    Anyway thanks!

I had the same problem and in the end figured out it was because I wasn’t using the rich text editor to edit my posts (I imported the user from textpattern and it was off by default). If you need to enable the RTE it is in admin > users > your user > “Use the visual editor when writing” – it should be ticked…

You’re right kelvinovitch. I should’ve mentioned that the TinyMCE popup is for WYSIWYG editors only (see readme file).
