“Unable to connect to the Flowplayer Video API” caption keeps appearing. I need to know how to fix this. Can’t delete any plugins (it won’t work at all) or go to the previous plugin/s as there is no facility for that. It has the Spacer plugin, SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle Site origins and Page Builder by SiteOrigin. Has anyone got a procedure/checklist to go through to sort out this major problem.

  • Have you tried deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

Flowplayer reckons it’s a plugin problem. Seems the moral of the story is NEVER NEVER NEVER update plugins. They willruin the site somewhere. Harsh lesson to learn.

@cockneygeezer2009 Sorry about that. There was unfortunately a issue with the API URL which has been fixed. Everything should be working again without you needing to update the plugin. Let me know how you get on.

    Hi Ulrich,

Thanks very much for that. Unfortunately it only worked once and the “Unable to connect to the Flowplayer Authentication Seed API.” notification came up again.

Do i have to restore WordPress/site before the date i updated the latest plugin/s. Would that work?

    Hi Ulrich,

Thanks very much for that. All seems to be working perfectly now. You’re a genius.

NSFW Unable to connect to the Flowplayer Video API Again.

This problem has come up again. All plugins updated. WordPress Contributor Ulrich solved the problem last time. Must be an issue with the API URL again.

Managed to resolve the problem this time but what if the problem reoccurs again and i can’t sort resolve the problem?
What do i do? Who do i contact? Where can i post?
