404 page not found if using variable on custom email

  • Hi Jeff,

    On custom email tab when I add variables on any email I get 404 page not found on saving the custom mail template & takes me to wesbite.com/wp-admin/options.php

    Tried with both html as well as plain test but as soon as a variable (%user_login%) or any of it is added I get 404 page not found error. Tried with no plugins installed.

    That is a particularly odd situation you are experiencing. You get a 404 error on the settings page?

    I have seen you responding to threads created 2-4 hours ago & your response for giving reply after a week makes me feel quite unusual, anyways thanks for the response. Preferred getting a payed plugin, would get instant support.
