How tosolve the white screen of death when move WordPress from subfolder to root

    Hello,

    Moving folders is kinda hard, to do it you must know mysql or phpmyadmin.
    Because at some point, you’ll need to change for example the table wp_settings for wp url main one.

    Once in phpmyadmin, that most hosters provide, look into wp_settings table and change 3 times the root url.

    After, I can’t know your theme, if it’s well written it won’t call specific theme url but just relative ones.

    Also be sure of what you want, because this change will involve a drop in SEO ranks.

    Hi Digico,
    Thanks for the prompt reply. It helps kinda. But I don’t mind if the SEO is affected what I care now is to make my site show on the right link. I followed throught the procees to move index and htaccess to the root and deleted the WordPress file used as coming soon page. Now, after doing the house chores, my site link is showing screen of death! Sigh,how can I solve this?
