Changes my link colors site-wide

Hello –

Love this plugin, but it changes the color of my links site-wide (which I had tweaked in the WP edit menu). This is the only thing keeping me from using Magee Shortcodes. Would be grateful for any ideas. (WordPress 4.4.2 running Illuminate theme; https://www.cinemanium.com)
