Update to 4.4.2 has caused issues – cant upload & other errors
-
I update 3 different website and on all 3 since the update to 4.4.2 I cant upload anything to the sites. I get the error ‘The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2016/02’ I tried moving a document over through FTP and was unsuccessful. I tried manually installing 4.4.2 again but got the same error message above. I cant update any plugins as it comes up with a box which says:- Connection Information
To perform the requested action, WordPress needs to access your web server. Please enter your FTP credentials to proceed. I click proceed and it just comes back to the same box. I also noticed on the Dashboard under 4.4.2 news the following statement ‘Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 78643200 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 290636 bytes) in /users3/domains/hisc.com.au/web/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1208’
I also note under the plugin backupbuddy the following Error ‘#9002d: BackupBuddy directory/users3/domains/hisc.com.au/web/wp-content/uploads/backupbuddy_backups/
is indicated as NOT being writable. Please verify write permissions for it and parent directories as applicable. BackupBuddy Error Code 9002′
Considering its not just this site affected but another 2 & I tried it on my work computer with same results I know its not a site or computer issue.
If you could advise what the problem may be, that would be most appreciated. In simple terms which hopefully wont be too difficult or time consuming to follow would be great. Thank you.
