    Hi mcstahljr,
I think that the bar display that would work best for your website’s design would be to set the Bar Location to Top of the page and the Bar Display to Default.

This would keep the bar out of the way of your shield and not cover the search bar.

    Thanks and stay warm!

Thank you for the extremely quick reply!

I will definitely change those settings as suggested but I would love a way to have the bar stay at the top of the page as I scroll but not interfere with the page upon the initial load. Is there a way to increase a margin or padding of anything? Just a thought. I looked through the code but I’m not experienced enough to play around too much.

    Sorry mcstahljr
The Fixed bar is a layered on top of the webpage so while the extra padding or adding to the margin on the top of your web page will work when the bar is in place, long term it would not be a good fix. As when the bar is not present you’ll still have that padding & not all bars are the same height.
