    Hi kierancalv,

I’d love to investigate this further. Are you using a particular plugin for Stripe?

    Hi Michael

Initially I was testing a Stripe hook for Wishlist Member payments and discovered the problem.

So I disabled all active plugins one by one until I was left with ‘All in one SEO’ and tested the stripe hook again. The result from the hook was still ’no response’

I then disabled ‘Block Bad Bots’ and Stripe worked fine again.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Kieran,

Could you turn on “track blocked bots” and see if it can log exactly what was being blocked?

Also, if you contact us at https://semperplugins.com/contact/, I’ll be happy to log in and try and figure things out for you if that’s easier. I’d love to fix whatever the issue is here.

I’m seeing the same thing. Steve created an issue on Github to review this (which also links to my thread on the AiO forums): https://github.com/semperfiwebdesign/all-in-one-seo-pack/issues/34

    Hi Tevya,

We’re actively working on this issue, but reproducing it is the problem.

Yeah, I know. I just wanted to put that out there for anyone else experiencing this. Let me know if I can help.

EDIT: was that last about turning on the tracker and logging into my site intended for me? If so, what’s the best way to get you credentials?

    Tevya,

It was, but we’ve actually found the issue. It will be in the next update. If you don’t want to wait, you can download the latest development version here https://github.com/semperfiwebdesign/all-in-one-seo-pack/archive/master.zip
Just make sure you change the directory name to all-in-one-seo-pack from whatever it names it.

Most of the time the development version is stable, but no promises. ??

Thanks Michael! I’ll just wait. I don’t have a bad bot problem that I’m aware of, so I don’t mind waiting a bit.

In the User-Agent Blocklist, there is a line with the string DOC. This is what is matching against Stripe. Their User-Agent string is “Stripe/1.0 (+https://stripe.com/docs/webhooks)”, and the DOC blocker entry matches against the /docs/ substring.

Remove that line and re-save your settings. We are going to remove that entry from future versions of the plugin, as it is very generic and has too much potential for other false-positive matches like this one.
