So many spam on my website

    Hi,

    I just build my website 2 days ago and the first thing I did was installing the WP Security All in One plugin. But second day already got a lot of “spam comments”. Our last two websites are hacked in one month time, so we are a little bit afraid. Can you help me?

    @teisjeteisje can you share with us what security configuration have you set up in the plugin?

    One that is very powerful and one that I suggest is the Brute Force Rename Login Page.

    @teisjeteisje,
    We introduced a new feature which will permanently block IP addresses if they submit more than a configurable number of SPAM comments.
    (see SPAM Prevention -> Comment SPAM IP Monitoring tab)

    Also, in order to take advantage of the full capabilities of this feature I highly recommend that you also activate the Akismet plugin because the new feature can listen for any comments which are marked as SPAM and it will block the IP if configured to do so.
