    My wordpress site has been working quite well until last friday until I had a look at on Google and there was random text appearing and then a black screen, and then the rest of the site was below, but random symbols were appearing. When I tried to access the admin page, I could not sign in and now there is also random pieces of text/code appearing on the page. I have included some of the code here:

    Warning: session_start(): open(/tmp/sess_635a09e78a42737b23b02aa9229daa95, O_RDWR) failed: Disk quota exceeded (122) in?/home/domainplusmore/public_html/creativedestination.com.au/wp-content/plugins/cleantalk-spam-protect/inc/cleantalk-common.php?on line?115

    remove or disable cleantalk-spam-protect plugin and it will resolve the issue

    I’d begin by disabling all plugins and seeing if this restores any use of the web space.

    Secondly, are you on shared hosting or on a limited disk space for your host? You might have reached your limit and that is something you may need to look into.

    To disable all plugins, follow below link on how to accomplish this without having access to your WP dashboard.

    Let me know what progress you make so we can get you up and running again ??

    Hi! Thanks for your reply, Bukge, and David. I’m on a self-hosting site with Godaddy. I’m waiting to have the site transferred from my friend’s account into my own account so that I can look at the disk space limitation. Thanks for the link, David, I will give it a go now and let you know. ??

    Surely!

    You’re welcome and please let me know if you run into any roadblocks along the way so that we can get you back online as soon as possible ??

    I had a look at the link and to be able to deactivate plug-ins via the FTP, I need to go to /wp-content/ folder, if I’m read the instructions correctly, this is located in the cPanel. Is that right? I don’t have access yet to cPanel as yet.

    These instructions might be clearer here on the Codex rather than that website, take a peek here and it will answer the question on how to do this via FTP.
