Client login portal

Howdy

I know this has been discussed ad nauseam on other threads, but I am having a lot of problems understanding the various solutions presented, being a newbie…..hence the moniker “Braindead”.

I am in the final stages of building a website for myself (My first one), using the Tesseract Theme, on a Wamp server, and I need to be able to put in a “Client Login” on the webpage that; with a unique username and password for each client allows the client to see individual specific info on it. Obviously there would be several clients and therefore unique login details for each one.

The Tesseract them allows for two buttons on the header which is convenient, and I would like to be able to configure the login details into one of the buttons

I am looking for the best, (and hopefully easiest) method to do this as I am not overly brilliant with wp just yet. It is fun, but still I am on the lower end of the learning curve.

I will gladly pay for the right plugin, (especially one that has a video tutorial to assist me), however I have become totally confused with all the info out there pertaining to this dilemma.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Also if possible, I would like to know how to insert a download (Not image or music, a downloadable form) into one of the two buttons on this theme.

Any additional help here would also be greatly appreciated.
