• I have WordPress based website whose domain name which I bought separately and hosted on bluehost.com
I have liked a theme on wordpress.com and want to purchase it and install it on my website. Before check-out It is asking for some mapping with additional charges. I am ready to pay all charges but how will then it install the theme on my website?
Is this process simple because I am not technically strong?

Thanks for the support and response.

  • “Premium Themes that are set up for WordPress.com use only cannot be transferred to self-hosted www.ads-software.com sites. Some Automattic-developed premium themes can be transferred to a self-hosted site at no charge, as part of a Guided Transfer. Please post in the premium theme forums if you’d like to know whether your theme qualifies.”

    Thank you very much Clayton,

I recently bought a different domain name at WordPress.com and began customizing it from a chosen theme. I found that admin panel is not the same as was available at my previous WordPress website which I have been using at bluehost. Many features are not available like linking a page with another page on the same site etc.
Is it because I am using their free plan or is it due to some other reason. Will it help if I switch to their premium plan?
    What is the solution?
Thanks a lot for helping me understanding WordPress. I apprecaite

I have a self-hosted website running on WP. If I buy a premium theme and later want to return it within say a week or month. Can I get refund?
    Thanks for the help

If you purchased the theme through wordpress.com, then you should ask at https://en.support.wordpress.com/ or in the corresponding forums https://en.forums.wordpress.com/ as @michael has already mentioned.

Please see the info on this page – https://en.support.wordpress.com/premium-themes/ – this paragraph – “If a Premium theme doesn’t work out we offer a full refund up to 30 days from your purchase…”

And again, it’s worth noting this information: “Premium Themes that are set up for WordPress.com use only cannot be transferred to self-hosted www.ads-software.com sites”

If you purchase a premium or commercial theme from anywhere other than wordpress.com, then the return policy is entirely and completely at the discretion of the vendor your purchase it from.
