Hi, I’ve got the Late Bookings set to ‘at least 1 day in advance’ (I’d actually like 48 hours in advance, but that’s another question!)

It’s not working, customers are still able to book for right now, today, no matter which option I select. In fact, you can even book for earlier today – is that a bug?

Any ideas? This is a real issue for my clients, they can’t accommodate late bookings very often and don’t want to let down customers, and stress out staff.

    Thanks!

    Hi Sara,

Have you tried checking the late bookings restrictions while logged out?

The plugin allows Administrators and Booking Managers to bypass the early and late bookings restrictions so that they can make last-minute changes to bookings. But once logged out you should get blocked appropriately.

The same goes for bookings in the past.

If you want more options for hte Late Bookings setting, checkout this microplugin. It will add options in the settings area for 2, 3 or 4 days.

To use it, click the Download Gist button at the top right. Unpack the .zip file that downloaded and then upload the .php file inside to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory. Once uploaded, you should be able to activate it from your WordPress plugins screen.
