SEO and Author page issues

Hi

A client of mine is trying to push his name on Google. Trouble is, no matter what pages we post on WordPress, or Posts, his author page with his name it is seems to be taking priority. It’s always showing in the Google’s cache with the latest Post I submitted for him.

The country code was incorrect though – it was set to en-US, rather than en-GB. I’ve since changed this. (We are searching on Google UK).

Could this be why? Because it’s finding something, and just showing that?? Will Google eventually re cache the pages as UK based, and show the others?

Just odd that it shows the Author page, rather than some of the Posts URLs.
