This email address does not belong to the same domain as the site on SUBDOMAIN

This needs to be fixed, as since the latest update, people can’t use the contact form anymore.

Because sending the form an error message is shown in the frontend.

Configuration validation has nothing to do with this.

I have the exact issue after my recent update i got that issue.

i moved my website from sub.domain.com to domain.com and i did the update

is this happening to everyone what do i do??

I agree this is totally absurd! FIX PLEASE!! Not everyone has an email that matches the domain!

I am getting this on the “From” email. I am using a mail-tag so the sender can enter their email address. The form submitter will *never* have an email address with a domain equal to the site domain.
