Possible glitch with & signs

Hello,
I tried insert a string such as “Legal & Medical” when I save and the preview inside the editor shows it it will go through all my strings until it comes to an & sign at which point it will stop before displaying the ampersand and throw up a script error.
I also tried
&but when saving, it changes it to the stand & and throws up the error message.Please see the 3 screenshots below.
