what to use!

I recently tried to get a site up and running in Joomla. (www.quaggabooks.co.za). A nightmare, and very difficult to add things to (articles etc). Now, while I know that wordpress is more for blogging, I am wondering if it may not be a better solution for this site. I would preferably need something that can show an enlargeable thumbnail of a book image, a description of a book, and be able to categorize a book in more than one category. Most importantly, the owner of the site is technophobic, and needs to have a simple process to follow in order to add new articles. I also need something that I can customise the design (I work in html, with a bit of CSS).

I am also investigating Drupal
