• I’m wondering if anyone has come up with a way to run multiple blogs using different WP installs and same database via unique table prefixes BUT allowing every blog instance to use the same user table. Point being that the same person could log into multiple blogs with the same user profile. The only sort of solution i can think of is to use MySQL to replicate or mirror the user table from one install to another. Any ideas? Thanks!

  • As far as I know that is not possible in the current stable versions of WordPress. As far as the CVS and nightlys go, I’m not sure about that either. It sure would be a nice feature, I remember back when I had shared hosting and only one MySQL database to work with, absolute hell. Do a search, its prolly been discussed before.
