Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Thank you James.
I will forward this to someone who knows WP tech. I am just a simple graphic & Photograher dummy.
As I can′t log in, what You say is too complicated for me but probably not for a “pro”.
I don′t even understand how to reach plug-ins without beeing able to log-in…
Again, thanks, I′ll copy Your reply and forward it.
    All the best,
    Peter

    Hi again James,
sorry to bother agai, please say if I′m asking too much…
As I, as said before) am terribly bad at understanding advanced IT-language and codes etc, I sent all the above to a person who usually works w banking security for National Banks here.
He said “Peter, it seems lika a Facebook-plugin is protesting. have you changed anything?
I then realized that I have changed my facebook password in Facebook…but NOT anywhere else, like in WP.
As can be seen in my webpage https://www.frontace.se/magazine, there is a small “Like Facebook-window” to the right, rather high up. This must be attached to the relevant plugin?

Now, beeing such a dummy, I would need a “step by step instruction, how to reach the possibility to in that case, entering my new password for Facebook into the right place in WordPress.
Is that maybe too much hassle for You?

If i don′t ask, I will not know, right?
    :o)

    Thanks for reading this…

I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/facebook-awd#postform so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

Or, just delete the plugin and try a more recently updated and supported alternative: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/search.php?q=facebook

I tried renaming all the themes located in my /content/themes files and one by one tried logging in. Nothing. Then I renamed them back to their original names, one at a time, trying to log in with each name change. Nothing.

I noticed there are a lot of people having the same issue with getting a blank screen after entering their User Name and Password. I have tried using Chrome and Safari. No luck. My other WordPress websites work fine.

Is there a backdoor (from my hosting site for example) to log in? If I can log in, I can change my theme and maybe clear the issue.

    What are the next suggestions?

I think WordPress thinks I am logged in because I have the Wordfence App on my website and it sends me an email when someone logs into my site. I receive this email even though I can’t SEE my dashboard.
