• I love the idea of this plugin, but it is a nightmare to work with. While the functions and settings of the plugin itself are just fine, it interferes with a bunch of other functions in the website I’m developing. The primary problem seems to be with the various items in the Screen Options on any given post or page editing page. Unless I deactivate the plugin completely, I am unable to change any settings in the Yoast SEO section, Excerpts, and theme options (the “page options” for the theme that are present in the editing pages). Sometimes it shows the headings for the screen options I have chose but they will not expand when the triangle/arrow is clicked, other times it completely “disappears” them. If I try to turn them back on by using the Screen Options checkboxes, it simply refuses to show them. This is a real problem when a site is in development, and as time goes on, forgetting that this is a issue would cause a lot of confusion when trying to update these settings. On the single blog post we have on this new site, I am unable to save any tags. Activating and deactivating the plugin to do these simple operations is not going to be sustainable in the long run. We are using the Munch restaurant theme by EugeneO. I am finishing the content of this site today and having trouble, but wading my way through the hassle of turning the plugin on and off. It would be great if your plugin would play nicely with this theme in the future. I really want to give my client the benefit of the schema markup, but he doesn’t want to spring for the Local SEO addon to Yoast SEO, so yours is one of the few options out there. that’s great! But working with it in our situation is not.
