Adding buttons to blog snippets/excerpts

Hi all.

I’m looking for a way to make blog excerpts (that you’d usually find on a blog homepage) a little more interactive/attractive.

1. I’d like to add in a button to each blog post excerpt that links to a separate URL. I’d like there to be a way to integrate this into the back end so I don’t need to manually add each link into code.

2. I’d also like to add in some extra info, such as a price (if it’s a review blog post for example).

Some themes have this built in, I’m wondering if anyone knows any decent plugins that will do this for me, or, if anyone knows how to add in some clean code that would accomplish such things!
