• Hi, I’m with https://www.sfbulldog.com/alexandra

I can’t figure out how blogstats are assembled. It seems like the “top posts” category should list every view and which post was viewed, and that the “referrals” and “search engine terms” should just be redundant explication of how the viewer got to each post. Sometimes I can match up the search terms with the posts that were viewed. Sometimes the referrals, search terms, and post views all add up to “total views” displayed. Often when 1 total view is displayed, there will be “none today” listed in any category. And quite often the “total views” exceed any way to account for them.

    Can anyone shed light? Thanks.

  • Sometimes people come directly to your blog (by bookmark) therefore there is no referral. Also, sometimes people only go to your main blog page and not a specific page. In that case, their view would only show in the total views. So the total views can be more than the total of other stats
