Issue with using alternate domain alias as sending email
-
Hi,
I’ve been using your plugin for a long time and has recently upgraded most of my clients’ CF7 to latest version 4.4. all works fine with the new strict requirement of having same domain email in the “From” config.
BUT,
i do have one WP that uses 2 domain names. the setup is as follows :
abc.com = main domain name
def.com = alias to abc.com
Wordpress is running on def.comThe issue with the latest version :
The form returns error in sending when i use [email protected] to send to [email protected]. if i try to set [email protected], it returns the error of not belonging to the same domain.The reason why i can’t use [email protected] as the recipient instead, is because they’re using Google Business email and theres a restriction in the web hosting config to not being able to disable local email delivery for def.com, which is an alias domain.
Prior to version 4.4, everything was working fine, with the “From” having “<[name]> <[email]>”, and paired with Configure SMTP plugin.
So my question is, will you be enabling an option to input alternate domain(s) so the new verification can at least identify them?
