    Hi,
I’m currently building an e-commerce site using Woocommerce. I have few hundred products available and it mostly working fine. One product is a nightmare. When I enter the SKU (Simple Product) it gives the message: Product SKU must be unique. I’ve deleted the product and added it again and it’s still the same. I’ve deleted trash, deleted Drafts. I’ve checked through every product individually to look for duplicate SKU’s and there aren’t any. I’ve also accessed the database through phpMyAdmin and deleted all records of the product from there. I’ve checked all the SKUs on wp_postmeta and there is no record of the SKU i’m looking for. I’ve installed two database optimizing plugins and that hasn’t worked either. I’ve gone down every route that people in forums are talking about. Do you have any other potential solutions? Please heeeeeeelp!!!

Just curious, have you tried entering in just a SKU number to see if it can process it?

If you look in wp_postmeta again, the meta_key for skus is _SKU. That is what the check uses.

I’m having this same problem – I get the error “Product SKU must be unique.” but the SKU I want to add to the product is not in the db table. thoughts?

Nevermind – I was looking in the wrong table. Thanks!
