I am also having trouble with this and getting the same message. I am also including the long version of the error.

Make sure you don’t have a cookie blocker when trying to sync events. Press the fb login button on that page before trying to sync private events.

I figured it out. It was a combination of bad entries I made, driven by the fact that I wasn’t familiar with the information that was required.

Jim, how did you fix this issue? I think I have the same problem?
