Installed on a blog, got the API key, activated.

Checked a post was enabled for Copyfight, viewed the post on a Chrome incognito window (so I wouldn’t be logged in, in case that makes a difference).

Click, drag, copy, paste into Notepad. No protection.

    What am I missing?

Did your content have more than 32 characters?
What is your WordPress version? (4.4.2?)
For the Free plan it only works for the following post types: Posts and Pages.
What are the first characters of your API Key?

    Thank you for your feedback.

No, not iPage. And what does that have to do with anything?

    Where is your site hosted?

The site is on a GoDaddy VPS.

I can’t call my hosting support for help with a third-party plugin that they know nothing about, especially without knowing what to ask about. They’ll simply tell me it’s not their problem.

Why does the hosting matter? Do you need a specific version of php or MySQL or something? I mean, beyond what WP already needs?

Previous versions of Copyfight required cURL. Not anymore. GoDaddy has been tested successfully with version 4.4.2. Email your credentials of your WordPress installation to [email protected] and we will look into it.
