    Hi all.

I’m quite new to WordPress, and I apologize if this has been answered many times before (didn’t find any relevant info myself, though):
I’d like to make some adjustsments to the wordpress theme I’m using. I just now came across child themes, which will keep my modifications from being overwritten. But how to I keep up with (bug- and) security-fixes that the theme
    maintainers provide?

    Best regards, Kenneth

The child theme still uses the parent theme’s files. So all you need to do is keep your parent them up-to-date.

    Excellent, thanks for the information.

I found that there’s a few plugins that manages creation of child themes, so I’ll give one of those a try.
