    Hi,
The “send to” field shows me a dropdown list of registered users (roles). Is there a way to create a notification that would be sent to a specific unregistered email address?
    What i’d like to achieve:
We create approx 5 new posts per week. (obituaries…) with possibility for site visitors to leave a comment (condoleance).
For each post we would use BNFW to create a new notification with emails being sent to just one specific email address of a non registered user. (family of the deceased).
For each new comment (condoleance) coming in we can then use BNFW to send out a automatic notification email including the comment to that email address (family of deceased.
Is this achievable or not? And if so, how? ?? Thank you.

    Hi zitemedia,
    Thanks for your message.

    In short: No, not yet.

Long answer: This is achievable to a point. You can create a New Post Published notification and a New Comment notification and set it up to send to users but not to non-wordpress email addresses, yet. There is an add-on scheduled for the not too distant future that will allow non-WordPress emails to receive notifications and to be used in conjunction with the Per-post Override add-on though.

Additionally, including the comment content as a shortcode is also coming in a not too distant future update of the core plugin so whilst this isn’t possible right now, it should be achievable this year.

Sorry I can’t be of any more help at this stage but I hope this helps a bit.

    Thanks,
    Jack
