Filter sorting messed up & Thumbnail not crop

    Im trying to use this plugin for a magazine database with issues back to 1995. I have setup filters for each year, but they do not sort properly.

    Right now it is:
    2014, 2015, 2013, 2012, 2009, 2011, 1995

    Which should be:
    2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2009, 1995

    Another thing is the featured image thumbnails. I have the setting in the skin set to normal, but most of the thumbnails are square. If i set to circle, everything will be in circles, the same if i set to squares, everything is square. But on normal most are square and only 1 is normal.
