An error occurred during the upload

I’ve installed the extension and most of the functions seem to work fine however when I try to upload an image from the front end I get the following error:
“An error occurred during the upload. Please try again later”

I then enabled the WordPress debugger and it shows the following error message:
“Warning: move_uploaded_file(thedomain.com/wp-content/uploads/WPC/56e1a7656a609.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in thedomain.com/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-product-designer/public/class-wpd-public.php on line 620 Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move ‘/tmp/phpuNIeXQ’ to ‘thedomain.com/wp-content/uploads/WPC/56e1a7656a609.jpg’ in thedomain.com/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-product-designer/public/class-wpd-public.php on line 620 {“success”:0,”message”:”An error occured during the upload. Please try again later”,”img_url”:””,”img_id”:”56e1a7656a6de”}”

I have called the host (Blacknight) support and they can’t see any issues from that end in terms of permissions or anything and the test files I’m trying to upload are very small so I’m fresh out of ideas really.

If anyone can shed some light on where the issue might be I’d be very grateful.
