can an Author post a blog and my author info show?

  • I have hired a writer to posts blogs for me, but I do not want to give them admin access to my account.

    When they post a blog their author info shows up. Is there any way for them to have Author permissions, but when the blog posts my author info shows up?

  • This can probably be done with some kind of custom jQuery, but not within the basic WordPress functions.

    At least I’ve never seen it done.

    You could make the writer write things as a Contributor, then you go to the post and change the author to you.

    You don’t need anything special, no custom jQuery or any plugin for this to work.

    You need to make changes to SINGLE.PHP

    if you are using TwentySixteen the code is inside “content-single.php” file.

    Hey man you are the editor or moderator, right? Just change the author while editing.
