    Hello,
In the “/events/list/?tribe_event_display=past”, the title is “Evenements passé”. It must be “Evénements passés”.
In the “the-events-calendar-fr_FR.po” file, I can’t find where to change this title.
I tried to change every “passé” to “passés” but it didn’t work.

Thank you to tell me if there is another file for the french translation.
Or where in the script is the “Past events” coded. So I can change it directly in place of the variable.

I search on internet and all site with Avada Events pages are with this “big” “faute”.

  • I’m having a similar problem.

I want to customize the translation of my language (pt_BR) but there are translated strings that I don’t where are coming from.

I also want to customize without replacing the original pt_BR files, since they will be lost in any update of the plugin.
    (Not as indicated here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/translating-the-events-calendar/)

I copied the .po e .mo to two places, made some changes and neither worked:
    /wp-content/themes/my-theme/languages/the-events-calendar-pt_BR
    /wp-content/languages/plugins/the-events-calendar-pt_BR

    What am I missing?

Would you both mind updating to the latest version and reply back if you’re still experiencing translation issues? We had a few quick fixes we released in the latest version related to translation problems.

@tigerbil – review the article lfreitas mentioned and let me know if you’re able to overwrite the translation files successfully.

Thanks to the both of you for the information and I look forward to getting this resolved with you ??
