stumped setting fixed width for two columns in full-width row

not sure what the best forum might be to ask this, but here goes:
I want to have full width rows with background color or images. easy with dambuster, but in those full-width rows I want 2 or 3 columns that are ‘centered’ to the width of fixed-width rows. can’t figure it out

Beaver Builder columns – don’t want full-width.more or less looking for a row inside a row… of course I could force HTML and width and auto margins etc – but then wouldn’t be able to drop in BeavBuild modules.
any hope? another forum to post this on?
