Hello, Sorry to bother you as I know I am the one that created my problem. I downloaded your fine plugin to keep a group from Samara away from my site. Somehow I did not fill out the form right and now I am keeping me out. I get a forbidden page pop up when I try to go to my admin page. I read the above and unfortunately I do not understand what I should do. The only thing I seemed to have learned somewhat is how to send emails on computers. I looked and did not see another thread that might help me. If you or someone else could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. If it helps my site is coastalpropertiesofcostaalegre.com
    Thank you

    Hi coastalproperty,

Thanks for your trying my plugin. FAQ or my blog post “What should I do when I’m locked out?” will be able to help you.

    Good luck!

I have not familiar with code and have no clue what you are trying to tell me with the first option. On the other I do not understand how I can disable your plugin if I can not get into my admin page for my site.

Just forcibly delete “ip-geo-block” in your plugin’s directory (typically “wp-content/plugins“) by using FTP or File Manager (typically cPanel) which is provided by your hosting provider.

    https://www.ipgeoblock.com/codex/what-should-i-do-when-i-m-locked-out.html#another-solution-at-emergency

Then you’ll become to be able to access your admin dashboard.

    Hi coastalproperty,

I’m afraid you’re still locked out.

The only thing I seemed to have learned somewhat is how to send emails on computers.

Sorry but I failed to notice it.

Can I have the name of the hosting provider (or the URL) you are hiring please? Then I will find the documentation about “How to delete folder using file manager” which should lead you to the right direction. I guess you can already login/logout and edit something on your site. I think there’s no big difference for using file manager.

And I also would like to have your suggestion about this issue.

You can configure the setting as you’ll be locked out. But before you logout from your admin pages, you’ll see the following caution on every admin page:

You’ll be blocked after you log out. Please confirm “Matching rule” and “Country code for matching rule” at “Validation rule settings”. Otherwise select Block by country (register, lost password)” for “Login form” at “Validation target settings”.

    Didn’t you see it?

If so, I should improve something about the user interface.

    Thanks.

    Hello,
I was hoping I could have sent you an email so your clients could not see this. If they read this I want them to know this is on me and not your plugin. I am the type of person who should never of gotten near a computer. I can not get into my site at all. I can open my account on the server. If any of the below programs will fix this point me to it and I will ask them for their support. I did see that announcement on the top of my wordpress page. I looked for 10 min. going up and down then I finally saw the lofin form and set it to what was suggested. I assumed this was the fix and logged out. The following morning I received the forbidden message, realizing I did not do whatever it was I was supposed to do.I remember FTP button when my girlfriend had fatcow but I do not see it on my site.I am using Dreamhost.com I Do see the htacess but when I open that up I get this message

You currently have no configured directories on this domain

So I am assuming I was to have done something here earlier.
    MySQL Databases
    One-Click Installs
    Subversion
    Cron Jobs
    Flash Media
    Jabber IM
    Htaccess/WebDAV
    Block Spiders
    Google AdWord
I really appreciate your time and patience, If I was able I would buy you a cold beer.

After I read some documents and googled, I found that Dreamhost.com has no web based file manager. But you can use web based FTP.

Can you find “Web FTP” which is documented at https://wiki.dreamhost.com/Uploading_your_site#Web_FTP ? And you can also get your FTP account information from https://wiki.dreamhost.com/FTP#How_to_obtain_your_FTP_login_credentials .

Unfortunately, my time is almost mid-night.
If you want to have something to tell me, you can find my address here.

Well I made it a lot harder then it had to be. I asked dreamhost if they could remove it,which they could not but they did turn it off. I was able to access my admin page and delete it. I will read some more then try reinstalling it. I thank you for your time and patience.
