On the Simple WP theme, is it possible to have html tags in the content that is over the hero image? I see that you can add content in the H2 tag and I’ve added custom css to change font size etc, but I’d like to have a couple of paragraphs of content over the hero and can’t figure out how to add line breaks to do that.

    Thanks!

    Hello Kimgorga,

You mean the banner image that appears at the very top of the page? I was able to add HTML to the Banner – Main Title and Banner – Sub Title fields and it displays as expected. Can you tell me what you’re trying so we can try that and see what’s going on?

    Thanks!

Over the hero image on the home page. I want to add a block of html content with line breaks and italics that isn’t in an h1 tag. I found a workaround (whisperkisses.com) but it isn’t ideal.

Hi – it looks like whisperkisses.com is not using the WP Simple theme. Can you double check?

I apologize. You are correct. Using WP sensible theme. Sorry for the mix up. I will post my question under that theme.
