    Hey Guys,
    firstly: Great Plugin!

I have the following concern: The Iframe content takes much time to be loaded, affecting our sliders and theme menues. We use OSM Maps with specific GEO Data using Advanced Iframe plugin at https://www.rapemap.de .

So to solve that problem we tried Preloader Version 1.0.7 from Alobaidi (Plugin).
Problem: The whole site now takes as long as the map needs for loading – which is way to much.
We would like to use a preloader only for the Iframe content while the rest of the page remains unaffectet. Like here: hoaxmap.org.

Is there any way to use a preloader for the Iframe content only?
I have not seen any option for preloading in advanced Iframe so far.

    Many thanks for your responses,
    Andreas

Advanced iframe pro has lazy load and also a loading indicator.

I don’t understand why you want a preloader as this would only help if you start preloading this on the page before.

So I think you look for lazy load with a loading indicator ;).
You main page stays fast and the iframe is shown when it is loaded.

Thank ya Michael, but lazy load is actually not the tool I was looking for even though it might prove useful to complete the picture. Nevertheless your hint regarding loading indicator solved the problem. That was actually the tool I was looking for. I decided to use Border Loading Bar Plugin from John H. Ospina – Ospisoft Inc. It seems to be a reliable solution to my problem.
Checking the features of Pro Version of Advanced Iframe I have seen no loading bar so I decided for the free Loading Bar Plugin.
If there is any other /smoother solution in the ProVersion I am happy to try it out though.

    best regards, Andreas

As I have written there is a loading indicator. It is shown in many demos like here:
    https://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/advanced-iframe/advanced-iframe-pro-demo/hide-a-part-of-the-iframe

If the other plugin provides what you want than go for it. It is actually quite nice as it also tests which images on the parent page are already loaded.
But can you tell me what the display for the iframe is? Because you cannot measure the loading times inside the iframe – only when it is loaded completely.

The onload event is where I trigger the loading indicator.

    Best, Michael
