I’m trying out Styles for the first time, and I’m very impressed. It appears to work faultlessly with the latest (4.4.2) version of WP.

I’ve been working with it on my sandbox site, adapting the TwentyThirteen theme. It’s time to transfer the styles to my live site. Of course I can do that by manually transferring all the changes I’ve made in the sandbox version and putting them into the live version, but…

Is it possible to export the sandbox version and import it to the live version?

I found a thread (2 years old) where the author talked about hoping to include an export/import facility. Has that facility been added and can someone point me to it?

    Thanks for any advice.

@dimitris33, thanks for this suggestion. I’m still not ready to go live, but when I am, I’ll give this plug-in a shot (and report back.)

Very sorry for being so slow to respond. Sometimes real life intrudes

There’s not currently a user interface for import/export, but options for each theme can be found in the database table wp_options with option keys storm-styles-THEMENAME and storm-styles-THEMENAME-css. The database can be accessed using phpMyAdmin or similar MySQL clients.

For example, for theme twentytwelve, the two options would be:

    storm-styles-twentytwelve — Customizer settings
storm-styles-twentytwelve-css — Compiled & cached CSS output in site frontend.
