  • Can your plugin do the following?

    allow me to point pages to ftp folders and allow certain roles to see?
    displays files and folders in the main folder?
    track number of downloads for admin to use?
    encrypts download link sot it is secure?

    How does your plugin handle logging in? I want a role to login and go to their page with folder view.

    I also want to be able to allow user to change password with level of security ie keying in their old password first.

    File Away will do everything you asked for except the password thing. File Away doesn’t do anything with wordpress passwords.

    It’s all explained extensively in the tutorials provided

    I just reviewed a bit more online learning.
    1. how does someone login to view the page with the shortcode?
    2. I see that 5 paths can be selected, I am assuming each path can be accessed by 1 user? If so what happens if I have more than 5 folder?
    3. How do i link the ftp folder path and the user?

    Have you read the tutorials on the tutorials tab? Base direftories are extended by the sub attribute. There is an infinite number of directories from there.

    There is no login shortcode with file away. That is not a feature.

    ok so if a user logs into my site how do they know where to go to find their ftp files?

    A link maybe? A login redirect? That’s up to you.

    but to where? is there a shortcode that is placed on a specific page? I’m not sure where I would be redirecting them to. Thx
